Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin

The Chattahoochee River begins its journey south at the southern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just below Brasstown Bald which is Georgia's highest point. The river flows 430 miles and forms a series of lakes:

and joins the Flint River at Seminole Lake where the
Apalachicola River flows out from the lake to the Gulf Coast at Apalachicola Bay.
